Kestrel tilted his head with a smirk, sea green eyes glinting red for a second in the change of light "Oh, hello, I was just visiting the area, there seems to be the most amount of people here, to learn from."
Xander : -"...Thanks..." odd to thank her for something she did to prevent him from actual suffering when the act that had caused her current situation could have just been prevented. Cane rested calmly against his right leg, hound leaning against the trembling
Xander : left one to allow heat to pass through the limb. Yet she extended even more knowledge about herself to the merchant and now he just wondered why. Why suddenly tell someone after so long? It made no sense to Xander, she had already proven something
Xander : large enough to warrant him to tell his own tales and still she added to it. A hand moved to touch the hound's horns, which upon touch immediatly retracted into it's skull, allowing Xander to stroke the beast's head. "Of course." He wasn't to stop her
Xander : from answering her own door, he didn't find it very wise with the state she was in and especially not if she actually wanted him to tell her anything.-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : Why? Because she felt she could trust him enough to understand her somewhat, and if anything occured to where she would need to use such to protect him.. It would not come to as much of a shock perhaps.. for him or the hound at his feet...-c-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : Besides, she doubted he would use such knowledge against him in knowing that bit about her.. for after all who would believe him? Not like he had at first after all.. Still she stood with the door partly opened, looking at the man who stood on her -c-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : stoop. Well she wasn't in any condistion for visitors, nor was Xander or the Hound, of course she hadn't looked back to see that the hound had retracted his horns either. " I"m terribly sorry.. You may have much better luck at the tea house.. It is -c-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : just through that small road there.. You'll come out just at the back of the tea house and between that and another home.. " With that said.. she would promply close her door as she stepped back. Taking a moment to draw in a breath, she moved to the -c-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : table where man and beast sat together. The shirt being released but now stained with her cruor due to her own actions made. Sitting heavily down in her chair she'd sat in before she rested back into it with a curving of her spine along the tall-c-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : backing with hands to drape loosely over the arms of the chairs. " Someone lost.. " she murmured on the individual who had been at her door. -f-
Xander : -When the Drowess set back down Xander had made up his mind "So...You wish to know, I will tell you." He couldn't just take the information she had given and simply walk off, bad trade which could put a dent in their business agreement. "Yes, I was in
Xander : in the ranks of a military, the greeting I first gave you is proof of that. I am only 27 even if my appearance says otherwise." He motioned to the box filled with powders "I was given something like that and the fool I was wished to try it." Hands
Xander : worked to pull up the sleeves of his wool shirt, revealing the myriad of scars trailing over them, some coiling around the entire lenght to disappear underneath the fabric at his shoulders "I don't know what to call it but I know everything happened on
Xander : a mindscape plane of existance. The things I saw there..." he shook his head, he couldn't name them and had no ability nor desire to show her as she had shown her memories "They inflicted wounds on me, no physical harm was actually done yet they
Xander : appeared on my body." A hand slapped on his left leg "This injury... While in this plane of existance the flesh was ripped from bone. Healers took weeks to repair the physical damage done but it never returned to how it was." The hound finally moved
Xander : leaning against the mentioned leg, trembling having stopped "Of course I had quit the life of a soldier before this happened but as you said, what is drilled in is hard to forget. The aura you feel is something I picked up afterwards. I can't control it Xander : and I didn't even know it was there. Yet with it came a whole new field for me to sell wares on and a whole new stock." Leaning back he'd finally allow his gaze to grace the Drowess, wanted to see if she'd believed any of it or would call him a liar.-

Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : She watched him as he spoke, his words sounding in her ears quietly. Her gaze lowered only breifly to take a look upon the scars which riddled his arms and then dissapeared up beneath the cloth of his sleeve, and when he'd tapped his leg, she lowered -c-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : those violet depths to gaze at the injured limb. She was thoughtful for quite some time after he had finnished. More so to understand what he had been put through. Well she could see how her own proving of self would awaken such demons within his mind.-c-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : Though further still how it was he'd aged physically, and live through all of that to have that uncontrolable aura that permeats around his being in a spectral of colors to those who could read such signs. Lightly the tip of her tongue slid over her -c-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : tiers before retreating back into the humid dark cavern, that parted in order to speak. Would she laugh at him? Of course not.. she wasn't that way. " The powder you took.. It sounds like a Voyuer powder... It is a necromancer's agent. It is not a-c-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : easy powder to make, and there is no written recipe for it.. It often granted to a necromancer who superceeds the tests given by whatever hell god they choose to follow..it comes in a form of a vision or a dream often to the necromancer on how to create-c
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : such a powder. It is made from a form of mushroom.. for the hallucingetic properties.. but the rest is purely magical in its full completion of it. Demons will very rarely use it on another being.. because of what it can do.. You were luckly to have-c-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : survived it.. but it does explain your uncontrolable aura.. " - f-
Xander : -Lucky? Had she just called him lucky? While he was glad to hear some explenation on what exactly he could have taken that all melted away like snow to fire as she spoke that word. "...You think I am lucky? I lost almost all use for my leg and..." The
Xander : wool sweater and shirt underneath were taken off as he got up, showing her that there was little smooth skin left upon his front and back "You call this lucky?!" The shirt was put back on in a fit of rage, the sweater forgotten since they were inside
Xander : "Yes I am ever so lucky to be filled up on scars to last me a lifetime, look like I'm well past 40 and got a leg that won't allow me to stand up for more than five minutes when winter is at it's worst." He dropped back down in the chair, arms crossing
Xander : infront of his chest, the hound at it's side creeping away from the loud noise. "Damn thing should have killed me. Would have saved me the month or two I spent being forced to stay in bed." Maybe if his own powders would have still worked for him it
Xander : wouldn't have been so bad, take some with water or smoke them, give a nice buzz and forget all about your problems but no.-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : Well for a human he did have a good physique, even with all the scars that riddled the masculine human frame of his. She wasn't disgusted by scars, infact if anyone knew her much at all she found them but a badge of survival and should not once be -c-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : looked on as repungent, or otherwise. Still in his show of anger that did not phase the drowess, she did however take in a deep breath and incline her head as he shouted at her. Yes he was very lucky to have survived and truly the price he had paid was-c-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : minimal to what he could have paid with. " Yes.. Lucky Xander.. because you still have your life, your humanity only altered in slight to allow you to handle magic items. But to also sence magic. Others who have had that powder have fared far worse than-c
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : you have.. " She paused and concentrated for a moment. Now where did she put that book she only placed away last night? Her brows furrowed in thought breifly before she recalled what room and shelf it sat upon. Too tired and still quite unstable on her -c
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : limbs to bother getting up out of her seat, she instead weaved her fingers within the air. Making symbols which glowed very breifly and then vanished to summon the book to her. When it rested on the table she leaned forward and opened the bindings -c-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : greatly frail and aged with a delicate palm supporting and fingers to barely clutch at the leaflets as she turned them. Finding what she wanted she turned the book around and drew it towards him to see for himself. There were some pictures carefully -c-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : drawn by the mancer who had experiemented with the powder, and written detail to such experiments and how they had gone horribly wrong.. well not for the mancer of course but for those who'd taken the powder to begin witih. " You see.. these beings..-c-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : these twisted creatures are what resulted from the powder you yourself took.. They are considered demonic beings... but they have no mind of their own, and they are only fueled and moved by the sheer will of it's master. Look at how grotesque their -c-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : bodies have been warped and altered.. you wouldn't know to look at that picture here.. " she pressed an index finger to one of the images. " Was once a human female now would you? So yes you are lucky my dear merchant.. others have not survived even the-c
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : changes and are dead.. " -f-
Xander : -He really didn't care much for the fact she still believed him to be lucky to have survived. The small show of spellweaving almost went by unnoticed as eyes trailed over his own scars "And the demons within your head.." is what he added to the changes
Xander : she had mentioned. Little thought was given as he moved to look at the book, wondering why he should be amazed by the drawings of some demons, he had seen plenty. However it wasn't until she explained that a look of horror set into place, the
Xander : realisation that he could have had turned into something like that...perhaps that's what the scars were from then, perhaps the experiments with his own powders had prevented such a change from happening "Please..." he looked away from the book, hand
Xander : seeking the hound's head, who quickly slipped into it's previous place, the familiar feel of the beast's fur, if one could call it that, calming him down slightly "Fine..I've been lucky..."-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : She closed the book with reverence and t hen the spell which summond it forth took it away and back to its resting place within her home. She watched him quietly with a frown upon her features. " YOu should not feel so down about it.. Anger I can-c-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : understand.. and the demons that which haunt your mind, is something horrible and i'd not wish on another being at least not when I'm content.. But ilke this dagger you sold me.. it is rare.. and you my freind.. are even more rare. never sell yourself -c
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : short by the scars which riddle your body or the less than adequate limb you have trouble with.. Scars do not make up a person.. it is whats within that does.. Or so it was told me once long ago... " She went quiet then and looked down to the hound-c-.
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : that went to comfort the man. Then feeling a little stronger she stood up and gathered that which she'd purchased from him. Being extremely careful with the dagger. " If you wish I know it is late and extremely cold.. you and also your hound may rest -c-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : here tonight.. no charge of course. " She carried these items with her. To the hearth she placed the dagger that seemed to match that of the one on the mantle already. She set it in display so that both tips faced each other. And the necklaces -c-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : she placed away in a casket for safe keepings, and the powders? Well those she just set aside for now out of the way. for she would take care of them -c-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : later of course. -f-

Xander : -Quite the speech she gave him but it was obviously to try and cheer him up. No she had awakened old demons and they'd be with him for the rest of the night. Both merchant and hound looked towards the Drowess in surprise however as a room was offered
Xander : to spend the night. "That is...kind of you miss.." It was normal for him to hesitate right? Still he got up, cane firmly in hand as he gave a nod "We would be quite honored to take such an invitation miss." Even the hound got up now, bowing it's head
Xander : to the Drowess, while the cold of the wagon did not bother itself it knew what it did to it's master's leg. "I will however repay you for such an offer. It is the least I can do after tonight."-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : She turned and looked to the both of them and shook her head to the offer of payment. " Consider it my way of righting what I had done unconciousely for not knowing what it would do to you.. " She looked to the Hound and bowed her head to him likewise.-c-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : Hoping the hound can forgive her for what she had done. But as she had explained she saw no other way to truly proove that what she had revealed to the Merchant was truth otherwise. Though both were surprised at her offer to stay, Alaun could have her-c-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : moments when vileness subsided, or thoughts of evil were laid to rest, and well with what she had done and what it cost her to do such. She was simply to tired and injured herself to be as crass of snobby as she was prone to be. Instead she moved along -c
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : the corridor and opened up a room. The first door on the left. That way he would not need to retreat up stairs to other rooms. ANd guestured to them the area. " Here you are.. Rest well or try to. If you need anything.. just give a shout or a holler..-c-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : I am only just above.. " Had she run an inn before? Ahh just another mystery to unravel about the dalael. Still she gave each a subtle smile before she would retreat up the stairs that ran up from the right side of the corridor. To eventually find her -c-
Âláüñïïrâ Ðäläêl : room and well rest her weary mind. -f-
