Kyosuke
: -=Kyo's eyes grew as round as saucers at the change in the other's voice, and
he momentarily froze in place. "No! It was an accident! I'm a horrible
mage! Just ask anybody!" Well that command to not run would have the exact
opposite effect upon the elf.<>

Kyosuke
: It seemed to release him from his paralysis, and he darted for the door. It seemed that the only time he
showed any grace or fluidity of movement inherent to elves was when he was
either scared or concentrating on something interesting to him. It seemed<>

Kyosuke : he barely touched the
ground as he flew out the door and sprinted across the snow. "MASON!!!" At first he headed toward
where his own tent was perched, but the sight of a large stone house caught his
attention, and that seemed a much more solid <>

Kyosuke : structure to
have between himself and the one he'd angered. He altered his course and headed
straight for it. He didn't stop till he'd burst thru the front door, slammed it
behind him, and planted his back against that door.=-

-Mason- Well wasn't she smart to move those
memories to the end of the whole night. Now he had no idea what was going on in
that room because the barrier he was leaning against was thick enough to even
prevent his better than normal hearing to hear anything

-Mason-
after steps had taken her to a further part of the room. Patiently he'd wait
for another attempt of trying something to have him open the door though for a
moment he worried that perhaps this had been a step too far. He actually
moved back from the

-Mason- door as suddenly the taps
were made to the wooden surface. Well that wasn't on a height the wolf form
could make the noise so this would tell him she shifted, confirmed completely
once she spoke. "Cheater?
And what do you call yourself putting images

-Mason-
in my mind I can do nothing about?" Of course that wasn't exactly to trick
him but his trick was to tease her in one of the ways he had been able to come
up with. A few minutes passed before he moved away from the door, taking hold of
the knob and

-Mason-
opening it slowly. He had gained a victory for once and was obviously quite
pleased with that.

-Mason-
Though his moment of victory seemed to be cutting short as he heard the front
door opening and then slamming shut. Great, he would have start to lock those
damn things already! "Goddamnit. Seems our little game is cut short."
He gave a disappointed

-Mason- look to the shifter before he moved to
the stairs and again he moved much quicker than was to be expected from the man
within moments he was downstairs, glaring at the one who had come in without
permission "What the..." words caught in his throat as

-Mason-
greys landed on the familiar form...Well now he was hoping this wouldn't be a
repeat of months ago or soon that assassin would be intruding into his place as
well and that's another prescense he could miss. "Kyo?! What the
hell are you doing?"

WingedWolf

celebration. the shifter had been leaning upon the frame, one arms over head
while the other rest prominantly upon one hip. lips parted to retort to his
question, only to be cut>>

WingedWolf
: short by slamming doors and fleeing mages. well this did nothing for her
mood, all these interruptions and people cheating...she'd start to follow in a

WingedWolf

shifter into quirker motion until she all but glided down the final stairway.

WingedWolf
: settling on his hip in casual contact that seemed ever present with the
female::

Durall : -Accident? Horrible mage?
Could mages really be so bad at their skills that they randomly dropped ice
cold water on people? No the shifter wasn't buying that, especially not when
the elf flee from the teahouse. Bag was forgotten for once as the
shifter

Durall : ran after him.
"Get back here elf!" It was controlling itself, preventing from
shifting into a more lethal form, it wished to remain here a bit longer and
smearing guts all over the snow would not be a good way to achieve such. Even
if the elf went out

Durall : of sight it'd be easy
enough to follow the fresh tracks in the snow, which lead it towards a tent but
then direction changed, over to the house it had witnessed being in the process
of being build prior by that walking mountain. This hesitated
movement

Durall
: but the thing didn't seem around so quickly the shifter followed the tracks,
leaving it with a closed door and shouts coming from behind it, clearly hearing
the name of the elf. Fist
banged against the door "Come out here elf! You dumped that water
on

Durall : me on purpose"-

-Mason- What a time to have the
shifter in her current form and for a moment he feared Kyo's reaction though
his attention was pulled away from such thoughts as he finally noticed the
state the elf was in. Eyes scanned over the torn clothing, bruises
underneath

-Mason-
and then that lip. Oh if that was done by the one who proceeded to bang on his
door there would be some form of hell to pay, even if he was currently annoyed
that the elf had just barged in he was still a friend, a good one at that. As
the elf threm

-Mason- himself towards him
Mason wondered what kind of person was actually out there that the elf was this
frightened. Then again, he knew how annoyed he could get when Kyo messed up a
spell and the man, clear by the voice, outside had probably received that

-Mason- one word, oops, as well.
However, his house, his friend and goddamn if he'd let the place get wrecked
already or Kyo hurt even more. "Kyo let go." He couldn't go out to
deal what whoever was there if the elf was clinging to him though a warning was

-Mason-
delivered "I have no idea who the hell you are but I think it's best if
you go cool off." wrong choice of words of course "This is my house
and the elf won't be harmed!"

WingedWolf : :: if he didn't want fresh bruises he might
have considered not angering people, that was usually a safe bet. the banging
on the door pulled a gutteral growl from her lips, the idea of someone bargin
in on *her* territory just the thing to spark that>>

WingedWolf
: violent side in the normally placid being. and the fact the elf completely
ignored her and then proceeded to cling to Mason didn't exactly cause the
shifter to warm up to him quickly. but other things were pushed to the
forefront, and while the mage >>

WingedWolf
: tried t diffuse the situation with words, she would opt for a more direct
approach. you couldn't intimidate people through doors after all. slipping
around the two males that rather diminuative female would reach for the knob,
fingers closing about it>.

WingedWolf
: before delivering a deft twist and jerking it wide to reveal the other
shifter outside. that growl deepened, lips pulling back in a snarl to reveal
those enlarged canines. every muscle was tensed, wings mantling to create the
illusion she was bigger >>

WingedWolf
: than she actually was. what a time to be out of her fur...she'd probably have
some choice words for Mason about that later. lids pulled back to deliver a
menacing stare, those bright hues taking on a brilliant cast while the dark
pupils seemed to sit>>

WingedWolf
: depthless in the glow of light. " one step and i'll rip your throat
out" ::

Durall
: -His house? Durall didn't have a clue to who it belonged and didn't care, it
wanted the elf outside so he could repay the pleasure of being dumped water
over. Especially since whoever it was picked his words so very wrong. More
slams on the door till

Durall
: it finally swung open to reveal...a naked woman with wings and a wonderful
mouth filled with quite sharp teeth. So why did none of it seemed to bother the
'man'? When she threatened it it simply shook it's head, silly woman trying to
scare a being that

Durall
: could easily take a much more menacing form. "Oh give it a rest! I want the elf out
here, now! So get out of the way woman so that damn mage can come out and pay
for what he did to me!" Of course the shifter was simply going to either
add a bruise or

Durall : perhaps take Kyo
out to that stream, literaly return the freezing favor. What exactly would purely depend on what it had
to do to get the elf out, which personality became dominant in the time that
would pass.-

Kyosuke : -=Well, Kyo wasn't
about to leave the house of his own free will, and even though Mason had said
let go, he wasn't about to do that either. He did scoot himself around so that
Mason was between himself and the now open door though. He clung to
Mason's <>

Kyosuke

out at Durall and grin, feeling quite protected with two people between himself
and the man. Of course he made sure that neither Mason nor Winged saw the
<>

Kyosuke
: gesture. He just snuggled himself up tight against Mason's back, emerald eyes
flicking between the two shifters as he wondered exactly what was going to
happen.=-

-Mason- Well for one Mason would
become confused as Tai suddenly moved to the door though the elf clinging to
him prevented him from stopping her, at least in a physical way and he wouldn't
do a repeat of casting a spell on her. Brow arched upward as the show

-Mason- she gave the man
outside, wondering if it dawned on her she was trying to be threatening while
completely naked, then again he didn't know what Durall exactly was or that he
wouldn't care. However his words and the command to Tai only added to his

-Mason-
annoyance and the fact Kyo was refusing to let go added to it as well,
especially since he was so intent on grabbing his waist, bruises only two days
old. Of course the elf would have to let go sooner or later unless he wished to
be burned, the mage's

-Mason- temperature
rising with every passing second. "Kyo, let go now!" Hands gripped
the elf's arms, trying to break the hold they had on him while greys stayed on
Tai's back and the open door. "You! Off MY land NOW!"

WingedWolf : :: words spurred on that anger, prickling pain
along the length of her spine until the growl was louder then should have been
possible. " take heed, not all is what it appears" that would be the
only warning before the woman dropped to hands and knees>>

WingedWolf
: suddenly. her body still blocked the entrance to the house, letting none in
or out while the stress of anger forced ehr body into a different shape. Mason would know what that sickening
sound of joints popping ment, the less than pleasant sight as>>

WingedWolf : limbs
shifted to conform to a quadrupedal state. like putty over sticks, her body
didn't seem quite real or maybe it was *too* real for the mind to comprehend.
no fur sprouted as limbs lengthened, bones thickening while pale skin darkened
to a steel >>

WingedWolf
: grey. wings were slowly absorbed into the tangled mess just as the tail
sprouted from the end of her spine. facial features pulled into a morbid
mockery of a feline's while those stiff ears flexed toward Durall. the hiss was
almost deafening, ebony >>

WingedWolf
: claws christening the threshold with furrows all the while those triple tails
shifted hyponotically about the lithe form. he was going to have a hell of a
time getting past her now....::

Durall : -Anger rose as it spotted Kyo sticking out his
tongue, the wish to shift growing as it could quickly have it push past both
the woman and the man inside of the house to get to the elf. Again Mason shouted though this time it was
land he had to get off

Durall : not just away
from the house, wonderful! The
warning of the woman seemed to take a bit of an edge from the anger, amusing
that such a thing would be said to it, one that was indeed not all it appeared
to be. Yet attention moved to her completely as it

Durall : heard familiar
sounds, seeing the woman was a shifter herself just brought a grin to it's
face. Now wasn't this
interesting, a shifter protecting a mage from another shifter, wouldn't that
make a good story. Of course the shift was looked upon with

Durall : great interest, seeing
what was different from it's own shift, when she was done it simply shrugged
it's shoulders, a faint pop heard as the bone seemed to prepare itself for a
shift. "You think you're the only one woman? Again, my business is not
with

Durall : you, it is with
the elf. " It really
didn't feel like fighting one of it's own kind, not type persay it knew there
were difference with all shifters, especially not to get to an elf.-

Kyosuke
: -=Kyo grimaced slightly as he felt Mason's body temperature rise.
"You're getting hot, lover." This was whispered into Mason's ear
accompanied by a soft puff of breath directly into that ear. He allowed the
mage to break his grip about the other's <>

Kyosuke : waist, wincing a little
as Mason's bare hands rather scalded his bare wrists. Then his attention was
caught up by the woman's shapechanging. The elf's eyes widened, and he stumbled
backwards a few steps until he sat down rather abruptly upon the stairs,<>

Kyosuke : probably adding a new
bruise to his tailbone. "She...
she..." He couldn't seem to stammer more out and simply pointed
incredulously. He'd never seen a shapeshifter before. He wasn't aware that he'd
offended one either. His already pale face went <>

Kyosuke : completely white,
causing the bruises on his cheek and temple to stand out lividly.=-

-Mason- The shift didn't bother
Mason, he had seen multiple before and the form was not new either. Temperature
kept rising as the shifter outside still refused to leave but then Kyo's
words...oh they brought on the real heatflare and the mage was glad the
elf

-Mason-
let go before it would have hurt him too much. Yet this meant he was free to
move. Steps quickly took him towards Tai, twitch slowly acting up at his eye
and if she'd bother to look at him she'd know it'd be smart to let him go
outside "Tai, let me out

-Mason-
now!" Temper was breaking through mental barriers now that the temperature
had stopped rising, layers of Mason's control quickly being scraped away, hands
clenched into fists at his sides. Oh if the male shifter wasn't smart enough to run off he'd be

-Mason-
getting a nice set of burnmarks if not more.

WingedWolf : :: one wouldn't
think it was possible for a beast that size to make an abrupt about face in the
doorway, yet that form moved with a deadly boneless grace that spoke of ill
tidings for the elf. Mason's words seemed to make little impact, and lucky for

WingedWolf : both of them

something far more important at that moment. a side step around the human mage

WingedWolf

hypnotic motion while wolf eyes blazed from the feline face. lips pulled back

WingedWolf
: front paws resting on the step his posterior was on so that she could lean
over menacingly. mental words were only for the elf, that tone a silky smooth
hiss against his thoughts - he is *mine* and if you think i'm scarey now...just
wait until i get >>

WingedWolf
: angry...- a rumbling growl that could be felt at the core of his bones would
escape those vocal chords, and artful string of saliva coiling from one side of
her open maw to drip on his tattered robes::

Durall
: -Well what was happening here? So the other man had been let go from the hold
and now shouted an order at the shifter who was already moving aside. A step
back was taken however as the heat radiating from Mason could be felt from
where it was standing.

Durall
: Now it wondered what this man was though given the fact he radiated so much
heat it'd settle on firemage or at least a mage, quite the force it was meeting
just to simply get back at an elf. "Why the hell are you all making this
harder than it should

Durall : be?!" At least the
other shifter seemed distracted but it was quite aware it was rather
defenseless against a mage who seemed to actually control his powers.
"You, firehazard, can't you just let me dump that elf into the water? I
mean, he dumped water

Durall
: over me, it'd be fair right?" No shift in form would go fast enough to prevent a spell being thrown at
it and even then it'd have to settle on agility rather than power, options were
slim.-

Kyosuke
: -=The elf shrank back against the stairs, eyes opened impossibly wide as the
creature the woman had become loomed over him. Then came the words into his head, and he
blinked, his face a study in confusion. "Umm... Mason? What does
she mean you're hers?"<>

Kyosuke : His voice was rather
thin and shakey, and he wasn't at all certain Mason heard him. Yet when he attempted to look around
the female shifter, he found he couldn't pull his eyes away from those menacing
teeth. The elf smiled as charmingly as he could while>

Kyosuke : quite literally,
shaking in his boots. "Look
darling, Mason's not a possession. He doesn't belong to you or me. He's my best
friend, and...." and perhaps that thought should just end right there. He
didn't know who if anyone Mason had told about that <>

Kyosuke
: night. He patted a shaking hand against the shifter's shoulder, his smile

-Mason-
Greys followed Tai suddenly retreating but he figured she'd just allow the mage
to defend his own turf. Gaze snapped to land on the shifter outside, smirk
playing across his epxression as a flame appeared around his left fist. If
nothing happened this

-Mason-
would be the first time in long since he could actually let go of his anger
when being driven to this state. Making it hard? Well if anyone was making this
harder than it should be it was the damn male shifter by not just leaving. Oh
so ready he was to

-Mason-
lash out when Kyo's words reached him, dragging those eyes from Durall to the
sight of Tai looming over the elf, flames disappearing as annoyed words were
muttered before he'd make sure they all heard him "ENOUGH!" With the
shouted word the spells

-Mason-
would find their targets, restrictions moving over thier limbs, freezing
muscles as to prevent any movement unitl HE would allow them to do so. Seemed
they had all managed to add to his annoyance. Steps were taken outside
first, hand pushing against

-Mason- the shifter's chest,
burning to fabric and flesh till he figured it clear enough "You, gone,
now!" With that done he turned around, the hold of the spell on Durall
disappearing the moment Mason slammed the door shut. "And now you
two." Slow steps

-Mason- brought him to the pair,
taking his time so he could take control over his temper again, get his
temperature down before he'd harm either of them unwillingly. "Kyo what did I tell you about casting
spells?!" He had told the elf in IK, hell he had even

-Mason-
told him right here when he messed up and made the snow elemental "You also
don't just barge into people's homes! What if it hadn't been mine? You could
have ended up worse than just being grabbed by that guy!" He should have
told the elf to get out

-Mason-
but that seemed a step too far so for now he'd just keep the hold on him. Greys
snapped to Tai, shaking his head "And what are you doing? You do know Kyo
is a friend right? A good friend at that!" Perhaps the fact he couldn't do
anything to her for

-Mason- threatening the elf by using her form
was what made him lash out now "I don't care if you heard him whisper to
me!" Oh yes, the mage knew well enough what the reason had been, not like
he didn't know how good her hearing was "He's off limits, got
it?!"

-Mason-
Hold would be kept on her as well, they could all still talk so he'd listen to
what they had to say first before he even decided who to let go first.

WingedWolf : :: her mind

good. As attention was pulled away the shifter saw it as it's chance to get

this would be it's end,

Durall
: messed with the wrong mage at the wrong time. But no, all it'd get was the searing heat

Kyosuke

-Mason-
Proving a point? What exactly had the woman been doing? Oh he had seen Kyo
spacing out but the idea that she was doing the same to the elf as him didn't
cross his mind, not at that moment, not when he was trying to calm down.
However he realised it had

-Mason-
to do with Kyo's question and even Mason wasn't dense enough not to get it.
Obviously she had told the elf he belonged to her and after last night he
couldn't even say he didn't understand the reasoning behind that. How mad could
he be? Well quite if

-Mason-
he ever found out what she showed to Kyo, who was looking as if he had just
seen several ghosts. "Ok...What the hell just happened here?" The
hold on both of them was let go, he believed Tai when she said she wasn't going
to do anything and Kyo...poor

WingedWolf
: his...thus went the wolf logic. upon that finaly word that amber gaze would

WingedWolf
: steps would move her closer to the mage, that deffiant tilt replaced by
hunched shoulders and a partially exposed throat. " i didn't mean to hurt
him...." a whimper of uncertainty. so much for having a good day::

Kyosuke
: -=When the elf was released from the spell he seemed to go completely boneless,
falling back against the stairs. His head hit with a rather sickening thump, but he didn't even blink
much less wince. The elf had already been walking a mental knife edge <>

Kyosuke : between his two
personalities. This new parade
of images, and being forced to feel things no man would ever have felt seemed
to have pushed him off that balance. He was caught in a mental loop, those
pictures just playing over and over. The only <>

Kyosuke : indication that this
might be the problem were the soft, almost inaudible wimpers that escaped every
so often, for otherwise he was completely expressionless, his eyes wide and
staring at nothing.=-

-Mason- Mason's attention stayed on the elf,
especially as that head hit against the stairs, the shift not even registered
this time. She had done something...Mason's spell had been cast perfectly so it
couldn't be that. Eyes finally moved to Tai, who was

-Mason- not looking at all
concerned though should he have expected that? "How? How exa...Oh no you didn't...You
did?" One thing the spell didn't shut down was the mind and since she
spoke through it he would have left it alone even if the spell could. Though

-Mason- now he realised what else
she could do and feared she had done it to the elf. The fact she said that made
it clear she had and now worry pushed away any last remains of anger as eyes
moved back to the elf. "Kyo can you hear me? Kyo?" This was just
great!

WingedWolf

-Mason- Mason wasn't sure how much more HIS mind was going
to be able to handle. Suddenly the shifter was gone though he knew where,
hearing was good enough since no doors were closed behind. Then there was the elf going for his pendant,
was he going to take

-Mason-
away the gift he had given him because of this? But then he crashed down those
stairs, Mason flinching at the sight and noise of that head bouncing down.
"Kyo..." Deep intake of air was released in a drawn out sigh.
"Come on Kyo, say something..Do

-Mason- something.." He
couldn't possibly leave the elf just there like that...right?

Kyosuke : -=The elf
blinked, though his eyes remained as blank as ever, but perhaps he had heard. Very slowly Kyo shifted onto his
side, then got his hands under himself and began to push himself upright. He
moved as one in a dream, every movement exagerated and <>

Kyosuke
: impossibly slow. When he was sitting, he began to gather himself to stand. He
didn't noticed the red hair that hung down over his eyes. Hair he would normally have brushed away with
an unconscious gesture to tuck behind an ear. His vacant eyes remained
<>

Kyosuke : locked on nothing, and
he barely seemed to blink at all. It was just another mechanical movement of
exagerated slowness.=-

-Mason- Well worry was complete
now, sure the elf was moving but he still hadn't said a word yet Mason was
careful in actions, not sure what exactly the shifter had shown to Kyo.
"Come on Kyo, please say something." He didn't care what, the elf
could start

-Mason- shouting at him if he wanted, he just
wanted a verbal confirmation that Kyo was hearing him. "Look, I was going
to tell you, obviously I was." And since Kyo did know Mason was a terrible
liar this was so much easier "I didn't want you to find out in

-Mason-
such a way." Especially not since he knew how it felt to be thrown into
that yet this hadn't just been the surprise taking hold of the elf. "Come
on Kyo...Anything? "

Kyosuke
: -=He got himself standing, then just stood there for a moment with his head
hanging. Finally he slowly
lifted his head, his eyes focusing on Mason thru the fall of crimson hair that
obscured them. Once again his hand rose, this time touching the pendant<>

Kyosuke
: with a single finger. This
pose was held for what surely felt an eternity though it was no more than two
or three beats of the heart. "Only two will fit." He wasn't talking
about the pendant, but rather the bed that Winged had made it very clear he was
<>

Kyosuke
: unwelcome in, even if this wasn't immediately obviouse. He dropped his hand limply and turned away,
walking to the door. Once more his hand rose to grasp the doorknob, pulling the
door open. Kyo stepped out into the chilly air without seeming to feel
it<>

Kyosuke
: and walked slowly toward his own tent, leaving the door wide open behind him.
At the pace he was moving, it
would take him a good ten minutes to reach his tent, even though the canvas
structure was clearly in sight.=-

-Mason-
Again the elf reached for the pendant and again Mason was prepared to be
emerged into the darkness he had been in for so long, of course if he had known
what Kyo had seen pieces would have fit together but now he was clueless, as so
often before. No

-Mason- pull came however, just
words which the mage didn't understand, he just knew it wasn't about the
pendant. "What?" But
the elf turned, moving to the door to leave and Mason...stayed put. He had to
find out what Tai had put into Kyo's mind and the elf

-Mason-
didn't seem right to tell him, the shifter had taken to the basement so he
couldn't get it out of her either. Steps were taken, looking at Kyo's back for
a moment before it was closed. He'd have to fix this mess when his mind was
clear, when that temper

-Mason-
had been locked away completely again. For now he went to the room with the
fireplace, sitting down infront of the fire, staring into the flames to calm
himself. He'd go down to the basement later, couldn't leave the shifter in that
cold the entire night.
